The law protects the relationship between a client and a psychotherapist, and information regarding our work together cannot be disclosed without written permission.
- If there is suspected child abuse or elder abuse I am required by law to report this to the appropriate authorities immediately.
- If a client is threatening serious bodily harm to another person/s, I must notify the police and inform the intended victim.
- If a client intends to harm himself or herself, I will make every effort to enlist their cooperation in insuring their safety. If they do not cooperate, I will take further measures without their permission that are provided to me by law in order to ensure their safety.
Payment is expected at the time of service. I accept payment in the form of cash, check, or credit card. Late payments are subject to a $25 late payment fee.
Payment plans for Intensive retreats are available. Please inquire for details.
I do not accept insurance.
A cancelled appointment delays our work, and is best avoided if at all possible. If you must cancel an in-person or distance session, please provide me with at least 48-hours notice in order to avoid a cancellation fee. If you are unable to provide sufficient notice, the full-fee for your missed appointment will be charged.
No fee will be charged if I am able to transfer your appointment to another client, so last-minute scheduling challenges are a great opportunity for you to refer a friend to me.
Sessions are billed for the time scheduled, and appointments are expected to begin and end on time.
On a case by case basis I will waive my cancellation fee in the event of a serious or contagious illness or emergency.
Intensive retreats, mini-intensives, and workshops are subject to their own cancellation policies. Please refer to your contract for details.
