-
The AMBIKA Method® is my framework for preparing for, navigating, and integrating expanded states of consciousness.
I teach the method as a practical, whole-person approach to working with profound experiences, including psychedelic journeys and other expanded states.
-
Psychedelic experiences are part of a much larger landscape of human consciousness. I speak about psychedelic preparation and integration, psychedelic-assisted work, mystical and non-ordinary states, spiritual emergence and spiritual emergency, and the psychological, relational, and embodied dimensions of these experiences.
-
Women's experiences with psychedelics can be shaped by the body, identity, relationships, sexuality, trauma history, social context, and different stages of life.
I explore what it means to create safer, more nuanced, and more supportive approaches to psychedelic work with women, including questions that have often been overlooked in research and clinical practice.
-
I explore trauma through an embodied lens, including the relationship between psychological experience, the nervous system, sensation, movement, and our capacity for regulation, connection, and change.
-
What happens when we move beyond a symptom-focused model and consider the whole person?
I speak about integrative approaches to psychotherapy that bring together psychological, physical, emotional, relational, spiritual, and other dimensions of wellbeing.
-
Healing doesn't always fit neatly within psychological language.
I explore spirituality, meaning, mystery, spiritual emergence, contemplative practice, and the places where psychological and spiritual experience intersect.
-
Through Bless the Medicine®, I explore the relationship between medicine, healing, ritual, intention, and the human experience of being cared for.
At its heart is a simple idea: the way we relate to medicine matters.
I speak about bringing greater consciousness, compassion, and meaning to the everyday acts of taking medication, receiving treatment, caring for our bodies, and living with health challenges.
-
Living with chronic pain or ongoing health challenges can affect far more than the physical body. It can reshape identity, relationships, work, hope, meaning, and our relationship with ourselves.
I explore the psychological, embodied, relational, and existential dimensions of living with chronic health challenges, including ways of cultivating meaning, agency, and wellbeing alongside what may not be able to be fixed.
-
Meditation, mindfulness, yoga, breathwork, movement, and other embodied practices can offer powerful ways of cultivating awareness and changing our relationship with experience.
I explore these practices through both clinical and lived-experience perspectives.
-
I speak about the evolving landscape of mental health and the growing interest in psychedelics, embodiment, consciousness, integrative care, and approaches that bridge conventional clinical practice with broader understandings of healing.
